Thank You Lord For Loving This World

Thank you Lord for loving this world
And gifting it with
your Son
Bringing Salvation down to earth
Proving your love for everyone
Not just one color...race...or creed
But you are all encompassing
In the shedding of the blood of your Son
You proved your purposeful compassion

Our sin deserved your speedy wrath
But your grace and mercy sought us
So longsuffering for our sake
Praise God for the blood that bought us
So precious still that Sacrifice
That gained my liberty
So thankful heavenly Father am I
Praise God for Calvary

Your watchful eye upon our heart's
You know of all its dealings
You know the wayward lusts it follows
You know its deepest feelings
You stand alert to bring it change
When it decides to seek You
And when repentance finds its treasure
Our chief desire is to greet You

Now our offering we give Thee back
The life You brought to Redemption
Full of praises and thankfulness
For the blessing of so great Salvation
With a yearning in our hearts
That we might now live for others
That they too might seek Thee God
And become true sisters and brothers

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
