We have become very attached to him
He has a flair for dramatic dynamics
In a freak accident he dislocated a limb
No longer was he able to perform antics
The yellow pages directed us to find care
After a lengthily analysis it was decided
that he could be made well and repaired
He will get the best that can be provided
Confinement and medication from a dropper
caused him to drowsily curl up into a fur ball
With one leg bound up, he became a hopper
After he was freed from his wrap he crawled
Gradually he gained the confidence needed…
He grew stronger and bravely took a timid leap
With major success his status was not impeded
He held his stance and didn’t crumble into a heap
His wellness generates a sense of gratitude
as he jumps up into my lap he begins to purr
The volume increases with a grand magnitude
Nudging my hand, persuading me to pet his fur

Very nice poem about your precious cat. I've had several in the past and they all had such delightful personalities. I am catless now but enjoy my memories. Wonderful poem, Theresa. Marilyn
