The Act Of Care Is Love

The act of care is love, a song, a psalm,
A healing touch beneath the burdened brow,
A tender light that soothes the storm to calm,
A steady flame where light can never hide.

It blooms in silence, asking not for praise,
A quiet gesture, soft and undefiled,
The hand that holds through dark and thorny days,
The heart that shelters like a forest wild.

It waits unseen, beneath the waning moon,
Unfolding petals in the trembling air,
A sacred song that fades too oft, too soon,
Yet lingers sweetly, carried everywhere.

For love is not a word, but what we do,
A patient thread that binds the broken heart,
A bridge of hope that mends the soul anew,
Its golden glow the keeper of our dreams.

The act of care is love, unspoken grace,
A timeless gift no person can erase.
