The Amazing Mr Whiskers Poem by Shaun Cronick

I need to write a poem,
Something light and bubbly.
Nothing so gray and dreary,
A poem that's lovely jubbly.

What the Dickens do I scribe,
To pull one out of my hat.
Maybe the one nearly finished,
About a trapeze circus cat.

Mr Whiskers is his great name,
A truly fearless feline daredevil.
Performing to spellbound crowds,
In risk taking he loves to revel.

The Amazing Mr Whiskers,
I'll upload tomorrow night.
A poem written for children,
Starring a 9 lives delight.
