The Appointment Poem by jibin joseph

The Appointment

She shook me up
“The appointment”
Now I got a day
That’s what she say
No regrets, no disappointments

To keep it even
One day she granted
I don’t have time
Not even to think
No place to go
No time to even blink

Time is fixed
To end it all
“I ain’t a fairy” she said
“I am death”
“ain’t you lucky”
“For I spared you this day”
(Life is precious and short. Live it)
