The Ascetics Sing Of The Garden Of Paradise Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Ascetics Sing Of The Garden Of Paradise

The ascetics sing of the garden of Paradise,
Yet, I am not immune to longing for its embrace.
In true ecstasy, one can certainly forget to covet...
...the tempting horis holding bouquets in paradise.

In the mirror house of manifestation,
Only one Face appears in every reflection.
As in every dewdrop at dawn,
The sun's splendor gleams.

Hidden within this image is also the manifest...
....In myriad creations,
As in a single seed lie countless others,
Awaiting their time to blossom into trees.

Hidden within my silence is but one longing:
To gaze upon you in veiled manifestations,
And listen to the melodious music pouring forth...
...from every thing of the creation...
...proclaiming there praise to the One manifester.

MyKoul, the path to your beloved runs through you:
Recognize yourself, the key to knowing the truth...
...that the beloved is the sole reality,
Manifest in all around— Indeed, your true essence too.

MyKoul
