The Autumn Thoughts Poem by Luo Zhihai

The Autumn Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

秋思

愁横菡萏败花雨露
梦绕鸳鸯残玉蓬瀛
怅望飞鸿天外远影
踟蹰游子客中寒声

The Autumn Thoughts

Sadness overflowing on the lotus
blossoms are withered
in the dew and rain

Dreams of the mandarin ducks lingering
in the Penglai and Yingzhou
the broken jade

Wistful to overlook the flying wild geese
the remote shadows
outside the heaven

The hesitating wanderer
the cold sound
in a strange land sojourn
