The Autumn Wind Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Autumn Wind

Let not your heart be troubled
As Autumn, sheds its
Tricolored Paintings
On the background,
Grey
Of landscaped, Earth.

The lovely trees of green
Will return after,
The virgin snows
Will melt away.

Just like peace
May someday come
To alleviate the pain
Provoked
By those, we lost
That now seem
So very far away!
From us, today.

As memories,
Start to turn to dust
And tears don't even
Know,
Where to go,
Nor, how to pray.

And the happiness
We lived, but once,
Twirls and turns
In the Autumn
Wind,
So suddenly
And unexpectedly
Forever,
Blown away...
