The Beginning And The End

i know that it has begun just now
it seems to go on while time passes
although i do not register progress
it is like it is covered by numbness
a steep journey uphill compaired
sure as i was to know so well
but now stuck in this middle
wondering why i didn't follow
i should have listened
from beginning to end
