Hey You Now Poem by Rob Knetsch

Hey You Now

Rating: 5.0

How did you die
was it an accident
a terminal disease
or was it by violence

were you mutilated by fire
or suffocated by the smoke
broke your neck jumping
from a window too high

had the virus reprogrammed
your cells to fight against you
or was it their painful conspiracy
as they agreed to grow until

maybe you were killed by a gun
or something sharp like a knife
was your head held under water
or did you use your own hand

This is a most beautiful verse, ironically worded and justified for the person meant to. Thank you for sharing this worthy shout, precious and worthy to read and think about. A TEN Vote.

A most lovely poem thought provoking. I do hope the poet in question would be able to read this precious but very important poem. I regard dialogues about death oft very important. A 10 Vote. Thank you for sharing this intriguing poem.

Death is thought provoking whether it happens by accident or by violence. This brings sorrow...10
