This past week has been something else
But the best shock of the week was that you had someone else
Those lies you told me, I believed them

I thought that we were friends but apparently you let her get the best of you
You meant everything to me and now my heart is broken
I'm assuming now our friendship is gone out the window

And that's fine with me because I know I'll be okay without in my life
It's gonna take some time to get over you
But I know sooner or later I will

I was hoping that we could be friends
After all you said not to give up on you
And the first time I found out about this girl was when I saw a pick of that ring you put on her finger

That's when I knew to give on you for everything
It's been a while since I talked to you
And no I never did say congrats because I know I don't mean it

I can't be happy for you and I don't know why
I guess that my heart is still shocked and its aching
Never I would have thought you would do me like this

I hope you are happy and that things will work out fine
So think of me and what I used to mean to you
If I meant anything at all that is

Well I did shed some tears if you were wondering
But I'll never shed anymore over you
That would be a waste of my time

If somethings goes wrong and she's not the one
I will always be around just to let you know
If you need to talk I will listen even though those lies tore me into

Maybe one day we can be friends again
Maybe one day you will see that I wanted you
