The Big Dream Poem by Miguel Chicas

The Big Dream

Rating: 5.0

He sits by his clock on the plains
Pale breeze kisses his faded skin
Crooks eyes away from gleam seas
Pens no longer spitting out his tears
It's alright
Piece of him grasps his useless hands
Do not play on ropes of thorn dear brother
A frog leaps on his weightless shoulders
Don't awake today in somber dear brother
It's alright
A lion licks his plastered beatless heart
Don't tremble tired eyelashes dear brother
Two crows feed him with so much blithe
Don't sleep without a goodbye dear sun
It's alright
He sleeps with a cavity hole in his tonsils
