The Bite Of An Ant Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Bite Of An Ant

K-iss the jinx goodbye,
A-fter the night is gone;
T-he beacon has come,
R-ising above the horizon.
I-n fourteenth January,
N-ew dawn starts to break;
A-llow the Saturday to shine, eliminating the heartache.

"B-ad luck" on Friday the 13th
A-ims to say farewell;
R-aindrops have disappeared,
C-hecking out for the thrill.
E-very perilous day of a week
L-ets you be more vigilant;
O-ne error brings much pain,
N-ever ignore the bite of an
A-nt.
