The Blink Of A Lover’s Eye Poem by Uriah Hamilton

The Blink Of A Lover’s Eye

Rating: 5.0

When you’re young,
You should laugh all night,
Dance in the moonlight,
Gaze and count the stars
Reflected off the lake
As you make love by the lakeside.

Find joy in erotic, youthful enterprise
And never allow
A sweet-scented flower
To escape your embrace.

In the certain grave
Leading to heaven or hell
There will be no more perfumed pillows
Nor romantic stories to tell;
The lifespan of passion is brief
And fades in the blink
Of a lover’s eye.

Only if you let it Uriah! springs to this romantic at heart. True passion runs deep, I would agree though that life blinks in the lover's eye. Merrry Christmas with much love in it and the new year to you. Tai x
