The Blistering Pain Of Loss Poem by Beena Jal

The Blistering Pain Of Loss

Have u ever felt a storm so quite
You are not even sure it exists
It blows out every shining light
Its so grand its off every list

A pain that is impossible to tell
A loss your not sure how to face
Its burning u, its icecold hell
Flood of tears that leave no trace

then it settles in your daily routine
Not gone but subtly always there
Its damage not so easily seen
But you know that its right here

If you loose main pillar of yourself
How are you supposed to 'get over it'
The one who was ur support, ur ref
Are you supposed to forget, be lit

No! It is to stay, this pain
This vast hole of deep nothing
This maybe more loss than gain
This pain is infact my everything
