The Body Where: Meat Meets Mind Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Body Where: Meat Meets Mind

Rating: 5.0

the meat
the mind
do not meet

in body flesh
but in electric
signals thought

we are mere meat
but upon scientific
in-depth analysis

we become
incredible
individuals

unique miracle
wonder revelations
in mind motion

making; written in code DNA

the meat houses the mind
the mind in aspiration climbs
to any time place conceived

the meat
is seal
container case for mind

each case
unique
miraculously wonderfully made

a case
claimed
made in likeness image of God

somewhere
between meeting of meat
and defining mind

something
miraculous consciousness
inception becomes

possible
an infinity
of human creativity

attains reality

We are indeed incredible individuals, and when we meet polar bears we become edible individuals. They love our meat!

Excellent thrashing out of the relations among body, mind and meat. Your treatment of the body does not separate it from creative spirit and mind. I like your pun of MEET with MEAT.
