The Brighter Moment Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Brighter Moment

J-ust let your birth come,
E-arly morn new year's day;
S-aturday night passes by,
S-unday is on the way.
I-t's a beautiful January first,
C-old chill has turned warm;
A-s the dawn has broken, light keeps you from harm.

V-iews of fireworks display
A-re amazing to the eyes;
L-et the two huge occasions
E-rase the haze neath the skies.
N-oontime starts to show up,
Z-enith is awaiting above;
U-nder the wide pink lane,
E-ach grace is brought by love.
L-et your heart feel the mirth caused by the double event;
A-llow the smoke to fade, to see the brighter moment.
