The Cape Tribulation German. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

The Cape Tribulation German.

The German he smiled
A thin do I have to smile smile
And uttered profanities at breakfast
She is Chinese he stated
She?
His partner Miss Chinese no name
Oh ya we have been to Cairns
Daintree Cape Trib
Cape Trib, does he know the full name?
There are bigger larger tracts of rain forest
Further north I state
So this you tell me is true ya
Well if not I am lying to you
The Chinese miss no name
Was more educated
If not a little dazed
Oh well we all had something in common
We all liked New Zealand
