ROPE.
Along the road of sin.
Lots of rope he carries
All he needs, silly boy,
Is enough to hang himself
- - - - -
Along the road of hope
She wished and hoped
And hopped about
Wishing and hoping
Just the ticket for little girls
With skipping ropes
- - - - -
The monsoon has come
I have a tent
I have some sturdy trees
Down it pours
Alas no rope have I
To secure one to the other
- - - -
You have tied my wrists
But not my will
You have made me angry
I want revenge because
The rope has burnt my skin
- - - - -
Soon I will be rid of trouble
Soon I will be on my way
The climb out may make
Me weary and worried
You see the ladder is made
Of rope…..
an interesting poem of the uses of rope? and the consequences if given enough of it! ........wonderfully written.
