The Carrot And The Stick (A Poem For Kids) Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

The Carrot And The Stick (A Poem For Kids)

All I need
Is a carrot and a stick
To teach my monkey
A new trick.

On seeing the stick
The monkey learns the trick
And then duly claims
The carrot as his gift.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My earnest request to parents is not to adopt the carrot and the stick policy with children, for this policy only suits monkeys!

A Meaningful write. Very true said in poet's note. This trick will not suit children. Beautiful flow of words, rhymes very well. Loved reading it.
