The Clock Tower Poem by T J Morgan

The Clock Tower

Rating: 4.5

We decided long ago,
when you were free
and had more time,
we'd kick up our heels
and reclaim our youth,
and celebrate the very fact
that we are we
the here and now.
The years drag on
it won't be soon,
which is fine by me
but I'll keep the deal
and meet you there
in Truro, clock tower
tuesday at noon.

See you there, mum.
