This world is so cold
it's so hard to find warmth
a place to go
and hide from the storms
when all I want
is to be safe in your arms,
all I get
is the cold and the dark.


Sometimes I think
that you don't exist
sometimes it feels
like love isn't real,
lost in the cold
and the shadows of the world
all we can do
is try not to burn.
