The Confable Poem by Nathan Coppedge

The Confable

1

Honesty. Working sufficiently on honesty will result in a honing of one's ability to form integrated objects.

Integrated objects are a key to enchantment at a pre-Platonic level.

One can give examples of objects that have been integrated: the most successful integrated objects.

The most successful integrated objects are often Platonic, whereas the least may have a literal correspondence, such as putting on a smelly sock.

Advanced integration may result in a world-change such as improved mind, improved body, or improved attitude.

2

Summoning. The ability to assemble powers and call on authority to implement 'means' is integral.

The quantity of things must consider the quality and the implements, and the powers.

The powers are merited to be at least an ensemble of the logics or persuasions of the things.

Understanding these two aspects: the quantity of things ('ensemble')and merited powers ('assembly') , one arrives at the idea of control and influentials.

Magical summoning is the idea of balancing the unseen merit of a thing with it's coincidence in the world.

With sufficient unseen merit, a thing appears, typically in order to offer an explanation or seal some conclusion.

Magical summoning is not common, but it is a worthwhile logic given sufficient preparation.

Testing oneself on magical summoning can lead to tremendous progress in other areas.

Conjuring is an especially difficult art, which often has no clear results, however its intelligence is towering.

Another form of summoning is simply logical coincistance.

This ability is like logical juggling or piece-fitting, which aims to achieve finite strategems, with practical usefulness.

Other than conjury and coincistance, summoning is basically, at least initially, essentially a study of ensembles and powers.

3

Great Powers. Certain powers have a Number which is fixed and (binding) .

For example,7 Serpents.

These powers dwell on another plane, and have a certain freedom within their special capacity.

This is what we call high occult. Something difficult, with little relation to implementation.

For this high magic, the capacity to comprehend is the majority of the power.

The actual reality is somewhat 'rarifect'.

We do not know if we have these capacities in the normal world.

These symbols command knowledge, but they do not always command the power we may seek to bind.

Therefore, we are drawn to know as much as possible of these signs, in order to have significant power,

through knowledge. In this way knowledge and power are approximately the same.

The powers are often old, and hard to find.

They may be associated with a single figure, or several.

They are often a new idea, something very basic, yet extremely nuanced.

They may have compelling symbols or rationale, people who follow them, or actions performed for them.

These are not so different from religious symbols, but their nature is not always religious per se.

7 Serpents (7 Dragons)is not the only example, but examples are hard to find in their perfection.

There may be ways to build the Numbers from lower writings. Things like medicine, philosophy, spiritual writings.

Refer to the most compelling signs when considering what thoughts to conjure.

One should consider thoughts of these things carefully, as one small difference is not nearly the same thing.

These symbols may be more important than Chinese medicine, and that is a high rank.

So one must not consider these ideas foolishly.

They may come from the gods, or some high power. If they are trivial, it is like they are under a spell.

If one gains nothing, one can still gain wisdom, from the powers.

So, one treads lightly, and learns the nature of philosophy gradually.

4

Metaphysics. This symbol emerges as a repeated motif.

When one sees that something is the world, is nature, then it gives one a secret.

A secret of what is universal, what is knowledgeable.

If there are differences between universes, it spells out what is not universal.

So, one identifies the Sign of eternity and the spells of tenacity.

If one knows the leisure of the signs, one sees the picture of one's place in eternity.

One learns one's role in the universe, one has visions of the plan of creation.

One learns one's duty within the cosmos, one finds one's natural character.

So, when one's sign is repeated- -the sign of all signs- -one finds oneself in the center- -

The center of all creations. And one learns the special conceit- -

One's deep-most secret is hidden within each following creation- -

One's power grows forever- -

One's language is ever-unfolding- -

One's heart is wisdom beyond wisdom- -

One's life is seeking eternity- -

So one UNFOLDS and finds the mystery within creation- -

SACROSANCT and proud, master of the mysterious PEARL.

So, one has become a deep dragon within nature- -

A sacred seal binds one between natures- -

One knows the wrackness of power,

And the billion permutations,

So one is sealed in this wisdom,

To know nature,

To seek infinity,

To bind down problems,

To translitigate delusions,

So the world is bound into this secrecy,

The demented demon,

The lord of illusion,

The wicked wisdom,

The fountain of lead,

The endless masking,

Thus the world goes away sometimes,

One is left with an empty head,

A soul of problems,

Empty hands,

Strangely the secret is still there.

One sobs,

One knows the people,

It is all still the same,

Someone was like this before,

Or they wished they were like you.

Was it always the same as this?

You ask if it was?

You were different.

Eternity is the same.

The mind is broken.

The cry of the normal returns.

So, one is left in misery.

And heaven is sorry.

One cups water in one's hands.

And one is thirsty.

Thirsty after the water.

The water is full.

And one's stomach is empty.

The spirit is gone.

And the soul has conquered.

The woman is heavy.

And life is tantalyzing.

What is this innocence, you ask?

Was I always stupid as this?

It was the dragon, or the stone, or the water- -

It was the cloud, or the coin, or the thunder- -

It was the child, or the rag, or the winter- -

One's throat is caught in the puzzle- -

The riddle older than whether,

To return to ignorance,

To sacrifice the sun,

To make futile promises,

To focus on difficulty,

Strangely everything is the same,

Wisdom has become different,

And one's eyes are full of tears.

Years later, one will die,

Not even suffering sadness.

One hopes immortality returns.

The changeless moment of expectation.

That snake in the grass.

Ignoble refutation.

How could one not know this thing- -

Flagrant turning coins, gambling the sun- -

Empty meals, just because of flecks of pepper,

Put on other things.

Nothing is so empty as this wisdom,

Full of regret,

Eating one's heart,

Sitting at the table,

It is not yet- -

That is the thorn on the throne.

One is quiet.

One blushes.

What is the tone of the sun, under the sun,

These empty sounds,

That do not completely ravel my thought- -

Why don't I sit under a tree- -

But it would not be revelation- -

It would be a re-evaluation of my analytic commitments,

My tone of voice,

My broken words,

I would return feeling depressed,

Ashamed,

At the uncareful meaningless sounds,

The evidence is just poetry,

The rest: lies, receding in the mist,

So I turn my body but it does not turn,

I turn my mind and it merely bends,

I turn away and am forced to return,

It is all the same:

Wise identification, shredding nonsense,

Fickle words hashed in available language,

Nothing is so taciturn as this.

Me: not even an actor,

Shown the world of human promise,

Doing little other than breaking sticks.

That is the mind in its irony,

Or is it a material body,

Broken on the mind?

One wants to be nice,

But the world gives different evidence than bliss.

After the arrogant shadows are re-convened,

One throws one's woe into the gutter,

And the world screams.

5

Locus Locii - - The Cloissone Egg.

So, the universe sometimes returns.

One finds a 'vivide objet'. And it contains the ashes of a phoenix.

One wonders what one did. To find the world in such a condition. One did not expect.

One thinks of a Grimoire, or the curses of a witch. One did not expect. It did not commit.

The thing is the same, the thing is different. The times will change. It is not the same.

One remembers long ago, one could not cry, one had the world, contained within one's clutches.

One was the dunce of power, the macrame of souls, one bled the world and turned up stones.

One has seen it all, all that a fool could see, like falling golden koins.

It was worth the world, because the old world turned away.

There was no more cosmic egg, just an emigre to America.

So, one changed one's tone, and did not sit on a throne.

One ate sugared rice, and made things look nice.

It was time to atone, but the language was gone.

Now words are empty, and it's worthy of the universe,

But the cosmic egg is gone, shoved under my belly,

And the young children hold different tellings, there is no way of knowing,

There is no fortunate man, just lessons for pigs.

The wind bends down too low,

The shades of colors move far away from here,

It is a shadow of a world, much too real to be less than a shadow,

And I am not sure it will ever be the same as my dream-visions,

Empty as I am I regret the belabored war of words,

The tragic logic of ignorance,

The fomentations of regret and happenstance,

It is all a rude word, or a lost work derived from a long-lost world,

The habits are different when the tones are real,

I can shave a sliver of the sun,

But it turns against my old shadow,

Turns against my new secret,

I have to keep my regrets in the front row,

Where the people mock them,

And trade tones looking for the ignorant thing,

The sad-mad-haddam thing that never made narry sense.

So, I shake my hands, one with the other,

The world is at the end of my mind,

It is not the same.

It is not the same tone.

Things seem real.

Things are thrown way out, into the nethersphere.

Looking for problems guys?

Because I may have came from there?

So I'm at loose-ends.

Not breaking crumbs.

The sound I love never sounded.

The love I love never loved.

The world is an empty secret.

I may as well keep my life,

Build on the shameful knowledge of the new world,

Change names and bodies if I must,

The world is the same world,

But I was different,

I am alone in the world.

Paradigms. There is a thing. A paradigm, let's say.

A paradigm that solves all problems.

A double-golden-age.

A fully-evolved concept of evolution.

A practical God.

An exponential efficiency.

A guaranteed approach.

Metaphysical connect-the-dots.

Maybe we can go there.

Call the function.

Say it works.

Make imitations.

Locate ourselves in the vast cosmos.

It's a lot like enchanting an object.

Setting it on the table.

Making people dream.

Meeting people's preferences.

Having all in order.

Optimization.

Souls.

Art-forms.

Considering original psychology.

Philosophical luck.

Not being in the wrong part of the universe.

Adding a few working concepts.

Doing the right thing and multiplying by infinity.

The metaphysical art.

7

Soul Tactics. Finding the soul, making the right move.

Formulas for souls. There are many kinds, or there are one.

Great intelligence. Things of similar transcendence. The workings of the gods supposedly, not really.

So, one turns into a tone, and one knows how to speak, and the sky sheds its russet color.

Then one knows authentic bodies, and dutiful minds, and the people are not so sorry.

The roses are not made bloody, the quiet child dreams. The sun rises again.

So, our thoughtful trees become wiser than a black thorn.

And God smiles.

8

Science. Her voice rose in a staccato, the sound of guns.

The anticipation of wind over the trees. The rows of houses and things.

Is it not the same as the chemicals in my arm or my head?

The books with pictures of flowers or corn?

The people with minds and nets?

Is it not the same as what I will have to think?

Of the bread I will eat and the drink I will drink?

Isn't it the same stuff? The same info-stuff? Material stuff?

When did I make a mistake? A metaphorical thing?

Am I reasonable today? It is the same stuff I dream that I touch.

It is the same skill that I am.

It is the same dock where there's a boat.

Science is so literal, woman says.

I have a life without regrets.

(Afterword :)

What one might do after collecting a series of things equivalent to object-integration, is to find one's 'Correlated Landscape'.

Examples of correlated landscapes include:

* Squares. (Square 1, Square 99) .

* The Morass (a sticky problem is more important than other things) .

* Learning Curve (s)(a life focused on some type of responsible education or intellect) .

* Cubism (a life of art, expressed as Cubism) .

* Painting by Numbers (a profound life for which numbers are the allegory) .

* A Matching Symbol (for example, correlating outer space with tiled Tarot cards, and abbreviating everything as the most common thing, that is outer space, which is now taken up by the Tarot) .

* An Inquest (a series of several or more questions which summarize importances about the thing as opposed to many other things which might seem to have equal value originally, otherwise known as a Distenxion or Tenachitty or Cheat) .

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My blog had been deleted by moderators, so I set about to recover some of the types of thinking I had before in as condensed a format a s possible. It was difficult, but I hope it preserves some of my thinking from the earlier period, in case the blog is not really recovered.
