'..The Constitution Makes Us Not Rivals For Power But Partners For Progress..' Poem by Brian Mattern

'..The Constitution Makes Us Not Rivals For Power But Partners For Progress..'

the universe was born to die,
and on it's way, came you and i.
subjective extensions of fresh possibility,
and this one that we're living,
has been tricked into practicing
a world-wide hostility.

"because it is, it cannot change..
because it is, we cannot turn the page.."

well, because "we are" we can better this place..
because that "we are" we can happily embrace..
we'll embrace that we're here and that history has passed..
we'll accept coexistence, and make plans for a communal world that will last

dire times ask for universal commitment.
this hand-me-down situation is getting old.

ceasing transmission, and closing the case.
with my love towards this goal, paix paix paix.
