The Cost of Protest
America is in need
Of more like Major Watson
To plant the seed of protest
Against the prez they detest
Jason knows evil from good
Stands up to biggest bully
In Washington's neighbourhood
Knowing arrest likelihood
Fighting for democracy
Against one for autocracy
He stands so strong and tall
Will never drop the ball
Time to wake up America
Protest against the blah blah blah
Show world that you fight for freedom
Ain't scared of Trump The Rump's kingdom

Out of deep respect for Major Jason Watson, I sincerely hope that this poem receives a very wide audience. Not too many people would risk their jobs, reputation and livelihood fighting for what they believe in. I salute you, Major!
