The Cure For Internal Masochism - Poem by Manny Negron

How are you feeling?
What are you thinking about?
I’m asking myself if you even care

I’m lost in the moonlight
I’ll never be alright
It’s hard to believe that you’re not there

Regretful nights with happy endings
Blinding lights with hidden blessings
Pouring rain, beautiful weather
Innocent blame is gone forever

How will I ever find my way?

I’m lacking all feeling
I’m not even thinking anymore
I don’t seem to mind that you don’t care

I’m found in the moonlight
And things will be alright
I’m suddenly glad that you’re not there

Regretful nights with happy endings
Blinding lights with hidden blessings
Pouring rain, beautiful weather
Innocent blame is gone forever

How will I ever find my way?
Well, I’m convinced I’ll be ok
