The D's Say Deleterious But The J Says Justice

The D's say Deleterious but the J says Justice
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
Does Dougie Ford say
Christmas huggie to PM Justin Trudeau
I say a warm birthday hug to PM Trudeau
And a coffee in a Team Trudeau mug for me;

Does Premier Doug Ford say Let it be
To Ron Taverner and you shall cease to be Chief of Police
For I am in hot water over appointing you
But we remain thick friends;

Does Premier Ford say On Board to the carbon tax
Imposed by PM Trudeau
He instead, pigheadedly fights it when every scientific and engineering proof
Says climate change and global warming are a serious reality we are facing right now;

Donald Trump, Pres. of the USA, says
Walled at the US-Mexico border
And Adios Muchachos to the Mexicans
Who say Stay Amigos, for tacos mean El Dorado to some
While burgers mean Vamoose to some;

Pres. Trump digs into the US dairy market for the USMCA and PM Trudeau, to keep peace
Had to sign on the dotted line and the dotted I;

His I-ness, Pres. Trump, pulled out 2000 US soldiers from Syria
Leaving the coast clear for Pres. Putin to pursue his evil Machiavellian plans
Over this, his secretary of defence, Jim Mattis, resigned
And his My-ness, Donald Trump, pre-empted the strike;

We live in a mixed-up world
And if Warren Clements writes the editorial of all Christmas eves
I say: Publish and pay me
For I am pure of heart and soul
Merry Christmas, Canada!
