The Daily Sacrifice Poem by Rob Lamberton

The Daily Sacrifice

Rating: 5.0

Father forgive me for my vile sins
Brought out a leper unclean within
Since ere the first man sprung from grace
A yeast infection corrupts our race

Daily I fall upon my face
In refuge and smoke Your Holy Place
Touch me Lord and make me clean
This leprosy O' Lord fills my being

From bleeding bird and bleeding bleeding beast
From hyssop branch to Holy Priest
Our daily flood of sin away
Cleansed by Eternal Blood today

Jesus my Most Holy Place
Accessed alone by Glorious Grace
Say running brook and cleansing sea
From daily sin I've been set free

What a wonderful and humble poem/prayer! ! ! Thank you so much for sharing this! Indeed, without the cleansing blood of our Redeemer we are worthless and condemned! I will never cease to marvel at the grace and goodness of God! ! !
