Beware young sparrow
A handsome foe strikes quickly
Winged god of the sky
Petite soaring on soft wind
Yet not with empty talons

But I don't think this is a RIDDLE: 'A proposition so framed as to exercise one's ingenuity in discovering its meaning; an ambiguous, complex, or puzzling question offered for solution; an enigma; a dark saying. Anything abstruse, intricate, paradoxical, or puzzling; a puzzle.'

Hmm, it seems to fit that definition, doesn't it? I intended it to be a riddle. In some ways most poems seem like they have an element of riddle to them. Isn't that part of their charm?

Simplicity at its best. All is not as it seems. Excellent work.
