The Death Runner Poem by Lungelo S. Mbuyazi

The Death Runner

Rating: 5.0

My neighbour' son
Just died.
My mother was there,
Just a stone's throw away.
Wished I was that stone
Just to run away,
Away from being dead.
Then I know that
This world contains death.
