I'm afraid but
I cannot take in
Your landslide defeat
Every second of my life
Since I confessed
My love to you
I'm consumed with disbelief
Why am I so deprived?
You vigorously outstriped
My heart depth with your,
Paradise piece of love,
With your continental smile
You summoned deep feelings
Of caring & responsibilities
That causes the walls
Of class divisions
And race segregations
To tremble & tumble
To dust
Yawning stereotypes,
Religious divisions
And socio-economic
Trends to melt in
The warmth of love
Vibrant domestic
Feuds & vendetta
To fade in waves
Of reconciliation
As yesterday's clouds
Vanish leaving
The blue skies of love
Fuelled by the
Foundation of love
Resting on the rock of
Ages that cleft for the love
You vigorously outstriped My heart depth with your, Paradise piece of love, With your continental smile....great poetic expression my friend! My pleasure revising this fabulous piece of poetry!

Dear poet Lungelo, it's an extraordinary way of making protest against social injustice, where another end is deeply rooted with heavenly Love. The poem is a wonderful poetic expression of Protesting Love. Thanks for sharing this poem with us....10 Chandan

The power of love is so beautifully written with prejudices a distant memory as love is master of equality, fairness and loyalty that has no boundaries! I love this brilliant write and it will go on my favourite list of poems! If you have time could you please read my poem 'Reckless Words'
