Going on an exciting holiday to Devon
The lure of the holographic deep blue sea
The atmosphere of sun and sea crushing me
Being alluring and powerful with its enchantment
Showing a world of the busy neon lighted arcades.
The summer in Devon attracting a sexy man
His looks and voice resounding like the sea
And he does alone call to me
As if I am a siren or a medieval mermaid
His romance magical to my broken heart.
We do wander the pier and the beach
The tide covering our bare cold feet
But we do feel the physical heat
This holiday romance we do need
As surely as a beautiful flower grows from a seed.
All too soon the holiday romance is over
The glorious summer season is over
But we have our special shared memories
We know we glided across the nighttime beaches
And wished upon those nautical nighttime stars.
