The Devils Paintbrush - Poem by Gordon Jerome

Across the Earths canvas he draws his dull brush
Filled with heartache, deceit and deep dred
Trailing behind it a cloud of doubt and mistrust
For most of Gods goodness has already fled
Bits of bright colors still show here and there
Like unmixed pigments in the paint they shine through
these are our Saints who stand tall and teach
About God and the love he holds just for you.
'closing thought'
Think back on your actions throughout your day
may they have hindered the Devil in every way
