The Dogs Poem by Dorsey Baker

The Dogs

Rating: 5.0

Had his breakfast
Bacon
Eggs
Toast
A cup of hot coffee
Chasing the dogs
Old man too slow
To catch them!

But he is
Moving at a steady pace
Summer sweat upon his face
Begins to boil
He will never catch
The fast moving dogs

Never run a rat race
And never stalk the dogs
Because you will never
Catch them
In the act!

Catch your dogs or catch up with time, one need to keep pace with time. Nice one Dorsey. Top score.
