Stealing a ray from the sun
And not giving it back
Oh, to be a diamond!
Resting on the fairest of fingers
Lying on a velvet cushion
Decorating the rich and famous
Oh, to be a diamond!
The purest of the pure
For ever sought after
For ever treasured
