'The Dreamers And Me' Poem by Mae Bonnin

'The Dreamers And Me'

Rating: 4.0

Silence is deadly?
That can't be true!
For a world of my own comes alive in my room.
I create a place,
my thoughts on screen.
But no justification can be made for unseen.
It's your own world.
No other can live it.
How rewarding it is to live by the minute?
For those who imagine bring ease to their day.
Black and white thinkers live a much different way.
I am a dreamer,
A dreamer I'll stay.
Leave behind all your worries,
Come play for a day.

Wow you took the words right out of my mouth! I too am a dreamer, thats why writing is the perfect passtime. Beautiful, and true... the imagination can make a boring life full of colours!
