The Drowning Pool Poem by Kevin Patrick

The Drowning Pool

Rating: 5.0

Somewhere there is a smile that will blow
Your black cloud down
Someday they'll be a hand to guide you
From the rotten ground
One day you will hear a voice like summer
Blooming through your heart
And though you're throwing in this worlds cruel ring
It can't tear you apart

Through the darkest forest of your thoughts
A light will guide your path
And through the tempests of your indoor nature
You'll Survive the Aftermath
From out of the rusted cage, you were framed
No one will stop your flight
In Time you'll find that your lonely candle
stands with a billion other lights

But If you think that your alone
Then your another part time fool
For there's a world of people
Lost together in this drowning pool
