The End Poem by KIP MDP

The End

Walked home from school one night
Heard a sound from under a shady light
Taking a step to run away

When the stalker began to say

"Dear sweet child why do you run?
I do not find chases to be fun."

"Leave me alone" was screamed aloud

A terror grew as the figure stood proud
Turning around and beginning to leave
An arm is caught by the sleeve
As a scream pierced the night
And a body jerked from fright

A thud is heard as vision turns black
A final breath leaks out as a soul retracts
