The Eternal Day Poem by Michael Nkwocha

There are things the heart cannot know
depths the mind cannot grasp
till we're wrapped up in Your light
till we rest in You o Lord.

There are mysteries now so hidden
wonders now untold
but all will come to light
when in You dear Lord we're lost.

There are laws as yet unknown
the 'whys' we cannot tell
yet under them we live
for all is in Your hands.

A day is soon to come
in a way unknown to us
but one You fully know
we'd be lost to be found in You.

No more will be the rising
nor the setting of the sun
no days to come in turns
only now, an eternal now.
