The Fall Of Me - Poem by Chloe Hamilton

The grass may be greener on the other side

But these feelings I feel must stay and hide

Enveloped in worry and fear for the worst

It seems this heart of mine has been cursed

I want so much to stay in love

But I long for that one night of lust

Just one chance to rise above

But fall into a pool of mistrust

The tears I shed fall at my feet

To take this chance, I admit defeat

Unknown fears cloud my sight

I know not what is wrong or right.
