The Final Twist Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Final Twist

Rating: 5.0

Through the misty haze
Of the cold morn I watch you
Coming down the stairs
Smiling softly and walk upon dew

I watch you going down
The winding path to the dale
When the lone star in the
Western sky slowly turning pale

You walk away slowly
And vanish in the thick mist
Never to come back again
Giving the love story a final twist

A beautiful poem full of metaphors and superb images. So brilliantly crafted and expressed.
