This is a haunting, fascinating poem.
I wish you had included a poet's note, but the reader can certainly determine certain things, anyway. In my mind I see a child staring off into space, sitting with his arms wrapped around his knees, rocking back and forth and with no hope or emotion of any kind in his eyes.
The title is fantastic and is what caused me to read the poem in the first place.
