The Forgotten Dream - Poem by David Mitchell

What it was about I do not know;
For I woke up at the break of the day,
And all of my dreams were melted away.

    Very hard to hang on to dreams, David, it can be maddening when it has been a really good one. Sincerely Ernestine (Report) Reply

    that's the way it goes
    never can go back
    into that sweet land
    where all goes well
    a fine poem
