The Four Grandmothers Poem by Steven Silent Wolf

The Four Grandmothers

Rating: 2.9

(East)
That Life conceived
In Darkness born
The Light that lights my eye is Wisdom's Child

(South)
She speaks the Word
He is the Word
I hear Oneword within Her silent hall

(West)
All things that Matter rise from Her
He names by sound and song
My flesh is flesh of Mother's only Child

(North)
This Life from Her
He is this Life
This Life I live beneath Her starry shawl

(East)
That Life conceived
In Darkness born
The Light that lights my eye is Wisdom's Child
