The Garden Of Eden Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Garden Of Eden

The Garden Of Eden

If there's just this need,
This all is just irrelevance,
We're all this tired man and human,

We're all these voices singing to the stars,
To God and irrelevance,

If I grasp these scoops of soil and keep it,
Like a diamond forever,

Everlasting sparkles of sunlights and mouths,
Beautiful faces lasting forever,

If we hope and hope is this jewel in our hands,
And we can squander lights and beauty freely,

If we can dispensed immortal love,
And the physique of an immortal body,

If life is unchallenged and we lived forever,
If we were Adam and Eve before the fall,
This paradise is all that we are longing for,
And wishing forever,
