The Girl Poem by Mike Mendoza

The Girl

I look for clarity.
The love and its epitome.
The girl has me with her
Don't know. I'm in a circle.
She might like it.
Am I fine or enlightened.
Down the ocean I find treasure.
In the sky I find the sun.
Is it better than life itself?
It it better than the girls love.
I taste sweetness on my lips
Some on my cheek
I must ask. Am I alive
Well, maybe next week.
I'm in the night
I see her starlight
Afraid of it to dim
Does or does not. I call it a win
