The Golden Ray Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Golden Ray

The golden ray grazes the land
With the arrival of the sun
Birds hop on the grasses to pick
Up worms and having much fun

Dew shines like diamond
On leafs and petals and grass
Hiding behind leafy fronds a
Squirrel ogles at the village lass

The golden ray passes over
The placid water of the stream
And stays upon the silent hills
That stretches across other extreme

Soon it will be day and folks
Will be busy in their daily work
The ray will vanish with the sun
When evening falls and it is dark

Golden rays of sun beautify the nature. Dear sir, you have so nicely and hauntingly inscribed this poem. Amusing depiction. Enjoyed.
