The Good Omen Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

The Good Omen

Rating: 5.0

What that is not delighted is not worth fighting for
The one to pursue is the good omen
Not slandering nor our usual ranting over who is right or wrong
Nothing should make us forsake where we all hail from

Life is far from kin
Believing in oneself
And doing that which is essential we should all pray
Seeing destinies fulfilled
Whatsoever that makes one feel okay
Go ahead and build your mind on it
though not living in a rush
When heading for a goal
Nothing is hard to find
So far we take it crucial

A busy mind does not indulge in a crime
Neither engage in harmful affairs
That which is absurd he hardly pay attention
He can't appear on a watchlist
Or live a life that doesn't uplift
Merely to attract sympathy in his town
Or outside his place of birth
All in the cause to succeed

Whatsoever that happens on our way;
Is either kept or go with the waves
Applying life experiences to avoid unnecessary outburst
Because many await your lead
So do not let them down
Nor allow errors stand as their own obstacle.
