The Hidden - Poem by Brittany Fegley

The morbidity
The pain staking truth
The vacant lies
Found in our emotionless lies
The tears
The wounds the careful planning
Quite uncanny
The hidden the found
The crime scene tape
The deep scrape
Of death
Of life
Of the reddened knife
Of black
Of white
Of burdened light
A quick hand
A sharp bullet
A wet spot
No time to clot
No pain no gain
No love no hate
A slow bait
Darkness
Encases
Erases
Embraces
The ridden
The hidden
Fall
The hidden
cry
The hidden
In vacant eyes
Forbidden of lies
