Monastic silence and solitude
are not necessary prerequisites
for this experience.
Many serve God
with great purity of soul
and perfect self-sacrifice
in the active life.
They are able to live
in God's presence
by devoting themselves
to Him in self-sacrificing work
for the needy, the poor and the sick.
They are the hidden contemplatives.
Feeling God's presence in life is definitely great. Monastic silence and solitude are not necessary prerequisites for this experience. Great aspect is purity of soul. In pure condition soul can feel God's grace. An outstanding spiritual poem is beautifully penned.10
Hi Tony, What a wonderfully descriptive text. This gives me the warmest feelings of the Advent season. Thanks for your beautiful contemplation. Paul

If only we could reflect and extend our empathy, compassion, and humanity to the entire humanity; naturally as the breathing: for love is contagious- the more you give, the more you receive. A great poem!
